Structure
Student places are held by the district and drawn upon by its schools. A school
whose enrolment increases therefore does not require a separate purchase. Newly
added schools operate within the provision the district has established.
Oversight
The district administrator has visibility of every school within the district
without requiring enrolment at each one. The district report orders schools
according to the attention they require – low utilisation, significant student
inactivity, or unused places – rather than alphabetically, since an alphabetical
listing requires the reader to perform the assessment themselves.
Policy
Rules established at district level apply to every school within it. Any section
left unset remains at each school’s discretion. Where the district has
established a rule, the school is shown both the setting and its origin.
